Colorize

This project as you can see in the pictures to the right I took a black and white photo and I colored it to make a completely new photo. I also used a thing called channels this allowed me to color everything a different color. In order to do this I had to use one of the selection tools to select what I would be coloring then I clicked the channels tab on top of the layers box. In order for me to add and delete part of the picture I would click save selection as channel. This button is at the bottom of the layers box beside the add new layer button it looks like a camera. If I wanted to add new area to the selection I would click the square beside the channel and make sure it has a thing that looks like and eye and then click the channel itself. It should make the picture red all except for the selection that you have made. Then I can add or delete part of the selection by going to my eraser and using black to add to the selection and white for deleting from the selection. After I had done this I went to image-adjustments-hue/saturation this allowed me to color the selection that I have made. Also don’t forget to click the colorize square in the lower right hand corner of the Hue/Saturation pane. That is how to colorize a black and white photo have fun.
